Christopher Vidrine was raised in the Austin area for the majority of his life. At an early age, he learned the values of teamwork and cooperation with others through sports. He ran cross country and track and played soccer in high school. After high school he moved to Waco to attend Baylor University. He focused on his athletic career in the beginning but as his college career continued Chris began to find his true passion in photography. Chris made the choice his junior year to move to Texas State University-San Marcos. With this move came many things. He encountered the need to use life lessons he had learned from his athletic career. These lessons included the ability to be disciplined, mentally strong, resilient, dedicated, and professional. It was at Texas State he finally decided to pursue his passion for photography. Chris got his first camera at an early age and it was with this in mind that he picked up a camera again. Chris has a degree in Exercise Sports Science and a minor in Art.
Chris’ artistic ability runs in his blood. His father and brother are both skilled in drawing. His grandmother and his great grandfather were both skilled in painting. Chris’ artistic flair does not stop with photography but it spreads into other mediums such as artistic design using metal. He can visualize his art and he will not stop until that visualization becomes a reality.
Chris has a unique view on life and is very refreshing to be around. When working with him it is not about games, money and personal gain. When people work with him they find that they are comfortable and they can trust him. He does not disappoint. He believes in the beauty of the world and he can see the simplicity of life. One of his favorite things to watch is the Discovery Channel’s Planet Earth. This show is a great comparison to how Chris lives his life. The appreciation for beauty in nature and life exhibited in the show is also exhibited in Chris’ photography and his personal life.
Chris loves to travel, but but he currently resides in Round Rock, TX. He has a great passion for seeing all that he can and experiencing all life has to offer. He looks forward to hearing from you.
